HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO View 4G Set To Launch By Sprint At CTIA

Boy Genius guys says that the curtains are coming off the HTC EVO 3D smartphone and the HTC EVO View 4G Tablet. Sprint is just gearing up for its turn this year to launch these two devices at CTIA Wireless event on March 22nd after CES and MWC. And we are just two days away from it.

HTC EVO 4G View tablet could be Sprint’s version of the recently announced HTC Flyer tablet. The HTC EVO 3D smartphone is turning out be the successor of the HTC EVO 4G.

According to the source,  HTC EVO 3D will be having sports a 960×450 resolution touchscreen with Autostereoscopic 3D display capabilities, which doesn’t require the 3D glasses, runs on the 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon processor with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS on the board, including the 4GB of RAM (LG Optimus 3D also having a 4GB RAM), 1GB of ROM, 1080p video out, 1.3 megapixel camera up front, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera around back for stereoscopic capture with dedicated camera button for recording 3D video at 720p — 2D video is recorded at 1080p.. HTC EVO 3D will be pre-installed with YouTube 3D and Blockbuster 3D on-demand apps.

Sprint is also said to be preparing the announcement of the HTC EVO View 4G tablet. Coming to HTC EVO View 4G tablet, it might be launched as the CDMA / WiMAX capable tablet complete with pen input through HTC Scribe, sporting a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS skinned with the latest HTC Sense UI, and equipped with dual cameras – 5 Megapixels rear- side camera and an additional 1.3 MP front-facing camera, also having DLNA functionality, HDMI-out port powered by a 4000mAH battery.

Along with these two unconfirmed devices, Sprint also bringing some other devices. Samsung’s Nexus S 4G is said to be one of them. According to rumors, WiMAX capable Sprint branded Motorola Xoom will be coming soon.
