i just wanted to note that the camera of the Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 is 8-mp, not 3.
Camera is 3-mp. It was 8-mp for the 10.1V model, the one before this one.

This one is having 5MP rear & 3MP front-facing cameras only. It is the revamped Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, measuring 8.6mm thickness.
The one you are talking about is Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v P7100 (https://gadgetian.com/8002/samsung-galaxy-tab-10-1-specs-price), which is having a 8MP rear camera & 2MP front camera and it is a limited edition.

Apparently there is a third version of the Galaxy 10.1 or the 10.1 is going to be different in the USA (same thing maybe) The 5000 google I/O 2011 attendees were given white galaxy 10.1 but with no sd slot and no removable sim card. Is this a one off model or is it a US version.

Bottom line the 10.1 was made later to beat the ipad2 in weight but lost some features along the way.
I hope they will take out the Tegra 2 and put it their own dual-core Exynos processors…..IIt’s beast.

This is a review of the product they first showed in March, but then scraped after the iPad2 was released. One of the things I see in the specs that clearly isn’t there, is there is no microSD card in the one being released.

Have a close comparison between Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and
Asus Eee Transformer. Both have nearly similar features except that
Asus edge out Samsung with its mini HDMI and MicroSD built into the
tablet plus when docked, not to mention 2 USB outlet on dock keypad
Asus EeeTransformer has a 16 hrs battery life without being plugged in
