  1. I am waiting for galaxy tab 8.9 at the philippines (but I’m Korean). the price is about24000 to 26000 (about $460) which is an affordable price compared to ipad which was expensive since 1st gen (about $500).

  2. Google has indicated that tablets and smartphones won’t be sharing the same Android build until Ice Cream Sandwich, scheduled to be released in Q4, though interestingly enough, it turns out that Honeycomb actually has Gingerbread’s interface quietly tucked underneath. According to modder Graffix0214, all you need for making the jump is one simple tweak in a system file: assuming you already have root access, use your preferred method –Pocketables recommends the LCDDensity for Root app –to change the LCD density value to 170 or higher to emulate a smaller, denser display. After a reboot, you should then see the familiar gingerbread launcher.

  3. Major phail to whoever drew up that spec sheet. The iPad 1/2 both have USB2.0 based connecting ports, its just that the shape of pins are of Apple’s proprietary type but they are USB2.0 nonetheless since they are compatible with any standard USB connecting ports.

Secondly iPads does support Adobe Flash via workaround third party apps or Jailbreaking. There is even a native YouTube playback app. Still the point is moot since Flash based contents or applications takes up and drains way too much battery in mobile devices thus why most manufacturer and programmers are so reluctant to give full implementation into them for mobile devices.
