Samsung has announced new 3G capable Samsung Xcover 271 (also known as Samsung B2710), rigged phone successor to its earlier B2100 model. The handset is shook, dust and water resistant (it even works underwater). It sports a rubberised keypad on its front and has a 2 MP camera on its back (although 160×128 pixel resolution for capturing video is useless). B2710 has Bluetooth 2.1, quad-band GSM and 3G UMTS connectivity, GPS with digital compass, FM radio, music player, microSD support, impressive 19 hours of talk time on 2G.
