Motorola has released a software version 4.1.57 for the AT&T branded Motorola Atrix 4G handset, which brings the number of improvements and a set of bug fixes. The bad voice qualities and upload speeds haven’t fixed in this update. The rooted Atrix handsets may face trouble while updating this latest software.
The Changes To Take Place With The Software Update 4.1.57:
# Bluetooth: Improved multimedia experience with Bluetooth devices as well as the ability to use phone with additional headsets.
# Screen: Display will turn off automatically now while charging directly on wall charger.
# Phone stability: Improved stability resulting in fewer occurrences of touch unresponsiveness and/of programs quitting unexpectedly.
# Fingerprint reader: Improved fingerprint reader performance.
# Battery: Improved battery performance for longer battery life.
# Car dock: Improved performance of car dock and 3.5mm jack.
A notification alert should appear on the device, when the update is available. You can also check it manually by selecting the Settings –> About Phone –> System Updates –> Download. This update weighs in at 17MB.
Please bear in mind that this is not the update of the HSUPA capability for the Atrix 4G, which we’ve covered last week. The HSUPA capability for the Atrix 4G and the HTC Inspire 4G will hit in April month.
