According to rumors, Samsung is gearing up to add another Android smartphone to its Galaxy S line-up, the Galaxy S 2011 Edition, named as Galaxy S Plus, sporting the model number I9001. Folks over the Russia based official Samsung blog leaked out the details of this handset.
Samsung Galaxy S Plus comes with single-core 1.4GHz high-speed processor under its hood, sporting a 4-inch super-AMOLED display and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, skinned with Samsung’s own Touchwiz 4.0 UI customizations, 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 720p HD video support, Bluetooth 3.0, 8GB/16GB card in the box, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, powered by 1650mAh battery inside.
Price & Availability
Samsung Galaxy S Plus is set to launch in Russia in April, costing around £521 or 23,990 rubles (approx. US $842), for the SIM-free edition.
