Verizon’s LTE-enabled network device, the Novatel USB551L LTE Modem is now on sale at Verizon for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a two-year contract with the carrier on a 4G Mobile Broadband plan.
The USB551L LTE modem is a standard stick modem, which is having both the Windows and Mac supporting capability and promises download speeds up to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 5 Mbps.
It requires one of Verizon’s 4G mobile broadband plans, starting at $50 for 5GB of data or $80 for 10GB, with each additional GB coming at a cost of $10.
Novatel USB551L LTE modem Supports Windows XP 32-bit, Vista 32/64-bit (SP2) and Windows 7 32/64-bit, and MAC with 10.4v or higher.
Another LTE-enabled network device Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot is already available on sale for $100 after rebate with contract which can connect up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices at the same time and promise LTE download speeds between 5Mbps and 12Mbps.
