T-Mobile branded HTC myTouch 3G Slide owners now can get the Android 2.2 Froyo update. This update isn’t being rolled out over-the-air (OTA) and the users need to connect their handsets to the computer (Windows-only).

# Some other modifications and bug fixes takes place.
Download and do a full installation of the Froyo software update on your PC and do not connect your myTouch 3G Slide handset until instructed to. The PC will recognize the handset.

Users should have installed HTC Sync application (hit the link), on their PCs for the Froyo upgrade, which is weighing 65MB of size on their PCs for the Froyo upgrade.
