T-Mobile branded HTC myTouch 3G Slide owners now can get the Android 2.2 Froyo update. This update isn’t being rolled out over-the-air (OTA) and the users need to connect their handsets to the computer (Windows-only).

Download and do a full installation of the Froyo software update on your PC and do not connect your myTouch 3G Slide handset until instructed to. The PC will recognize the handset.
