A few days back, Asus Eee Pad Transformer has listed on the U.S. based Best Buy website for $400 and immediately the page was pulled down. Now it is heading to Europe. According to sources, UK will be the first country to get this tablet on April 6th that will be available for purchase from a wide range of retailers including PC World, Currys, Carphone Warehouse, and Comet. The 16GB variant would cost you £379 and 32GB goes for £429. This pricing is notable and slightly cheaper than the other top tablets’ price. You’ve to spill out another 50 pounds to get the keyboard dock, which allows users to turn the tablet into a netbook.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer comes with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, skinned with WaveShare UI, which allows for quick access to a host of utilities including remote access and a personal library for both books and multimedia. It comes preloaded with Polaris Office 3.0, a productivity suite for people who actually want to do work on their devices.

It is running on a 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 10-inch WXGA multi-touch screen with resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels, docking port on the bottom of the screen for QWERTY keyboard, 5 Megapixels camera with LED flash and an additional 1.2 MP front-facing camera for video chat, 1080p HD video playback support, 1GB RAM, a micro HDMI port, GPS, Bluetooth and WLAN 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, micro-SD card slot, 16GB / 32GB memory storage, Asus Webstorage (Unlimited for 1 year).
