HTC Sensation 4G Presented Officially; 1.2GHz Dual-Core, Sense 3.0

Here it is..as expected, the HTC Sensation 4G handset been officially launched at the HTC event. HTC Sensation is having the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS skinned with the latest HTC Sense UI 3.0, including a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a 4.3-inch “super” LCD display with a 960 x 540 resolution – 35 percent more pixels than a regular screen thanks to qHD resolution on the Super LCD display, equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and 1080p HD video (@ 30 fps) recording, a front-facing camera for video calling, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and an 8GB microSD card with a scope of memory expansion up to 32GB, and it’s all wrapped up in a beautiful unibody aluminum case.

The latest of HTC Sense UI 3.0 version brings an active lock screen that allows you to launch your favorite applications while the phone is locked, including the 3D transitions, an improved weather app, and HTC Watch for streaming movies almost instantly. It comes with HDMI-out, DLNA capability, Android Market, powered by 1520mAh battery and it supports HSPA+ in the 1700MHz AWS frequency band that gives the download rates as fast as 14.4 Mbps.

Price & Availability

There is no official word on the price of the HTC Sensation 4G handset yet, but It’s hitting T-Mobile in the United States this summer.

The Sensation will launch in the UK, Germany, and the rest of HTC’s "key" European markets in mid-May, with Vodafone having it "a couple of weeks" in Europe. Check out the video and images after the break.
