Samsung W200 Pocket Cam Launched; Multi-Proof, 1080p HD Recording

Samsung has announced its new W200 Pocket Cam, which is boasting as a multi proof camera –shockproof, dustproof and waterproof pocket-sized camera that records full HD 1080p video with 1920×1080 pixels @ 30fps.

You can keep on working underwater (up to three meters deep, at least), and capture some full 1080p video in the process, having two special smart filters -– Vignetting and Fish-Eye. The sensor resolution will be 5MP (back side illuminated), and it sports a 2.3 inches LCD screen, F2.2 bright lens, usual built-in USB connector, a micro-SD card slot to store the captured media content, 5.5M Photo Resolution, shockproof up to 2 meters, and it measures 60 x 113 x 19.7 mm, weighing at 130 grams.

The BSI CMOS sensor offers double the sensitivity of previous generation, capturing images with reduced noise and distortion. The bright F2.2 lens lets the users to shoot clear, sharp, as well as the blur-free images at low-light conditions.

Samsung has stated regarding this W200 Pocket Cam that “created for those whose active lifestyles demand both durability and quality,” and Samsung has successfully combined the simple style, ruggedness, and convenience into one little device.

Price & Availability

Samsung W200 Pocket Cam will hit the markets in the next month May with a price tag of $159.
