Sony Ericsson W8 comes with the out-dated Android 2.1 Eclair OS flavored with Timescape UI, running on a 600MHz single-core processor, sporting a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, equipped with a 3.2 Megapixels camera, 128MB internal storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 16GB, 168MB RAM, 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity, HSDPA – 5.76Mbps, HSUPA – 2Mbps speeds, Android Market, a whole host of Google services, powered by 1200mAH battery.
Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone will be available in three colors – Azure Blue, Metallic Red, and Iconic Orange.

Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone will be available in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam starting from Q2 2011.
