Research In Motion’s upcoming and unannounced BlackBerry Bold Touch (or whatever name it ends up launching with) smartphone has been confirmed through BlackBerry website’s home page, where it made a brief appearance in a couple of images. This handset is supposed to make an official entry at BlackBerry World Conference in Orlando, and it has been leaking online since a few months. An exciting news was revealed before the webpage being pulled from the website: “Touching is believing” said the page which also have confirmed the news that RIM has decided to give BlackBerry 7 (formerly 6.1) on the BlackBerry Bold Touch handset.
The BlackBerry Bold Touch is expected to in two versions – 9900 is the GSM version of the phone while the CDMA model is the 9860 and been codenamed the Dakota and Monaco respectively.
BlackBerry Bold Touch sports 2.8 inches display (480 x 640 pixels), 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 5 MP camera, 720p HD movie capture, equipped with a 35-key backlit QWERTY keyboard, 768MB RAM, 8GB on-board storage, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G mobile hotspot, BlackBerry Maps, Windows media DRM, as well as NFC support.
