BlackBerry PlayBook Coming Soon To Verizon

The QNX-based slate, RIM’s first ever BlackBerry PlayBook is heading to Verizon Wireless. Previously, RIM has announced that there would be an LTE capable BlackBerry PlayBook tablet hitting the markets and Verizon seems to be the carrier to bring the PlayBook with LTE flavor.

The BlackBerry PlayBook has made an appearance in a new online catalog of Verizon website, and it is sporting a “Coming Soon” tag next to it. But, the webpage hasn’t indicated the 4G LTE capability. The price details also haven’t been listed.

The BlackBerry PlayBook comes with a 7 inch touch display, running with QNX based BB Tablet OS,  features a screaming 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1080p HD video playback with an HDMI-out port, all packed up in a super sleek 10mm-thin package.
