It’s not just Nexus S users, even Google Nexus One users can now flash the Android 2.3.4 update on their mobile phones starting today. Android 2.3.4 update was announced last week initially for Nexus S with Google Talk video and voice calling features. But Nexus One users will not get the Video and voice chat options after the update. It is quite understandable as Nexus S one has a front-facing camera but the Nexus One doesn’t. However the Nexus One users would have at least hoped for the voice chat option disappointingly, it is missing too.
The Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update for Nexus One, bearing build number GRJ22 is now available for download or you might wait until the update notification to arrive on your phone to get the Over-The-Air (OTA) update. The update includes fixes to resolve various issues reported by the users of Nexus One after they installed the Android 2.3.3 update including the reduced battery life and GPS navigation problems.

Note that that file is a patch to GRJ22 from GRI40. If your phone isn’t at GRI40 (mine isn’t, like many other Nexus Ss) it will not work.
