The Wi-Fi edition of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is about release in a month’s time for $399. Every attendee (all five thousand attendees) at Google I/O 2011 conference has received a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Google I/O Limited Edition. At this year’s Google I/O event, Google has unveiled Android 3.1 Honeycomb, next mobile OS release – Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Google Music Beta, and Google Movie Rentals at Android Market.
The Galaxy tab 10.1 Limited Edition comes pre-loaded with Android 3.0 Honeycomb and looks to be running stock Android without the TouchWiz UI layer on top. An update of Android 3.1 will be forthcoming to this special edition over the next couple of weeks as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Limited Edition is now available on eBay for a starting bid of US $960, by the seller “swd123″. The seller has noted that “I just picked this up at Google I/O today. The tablet is unopened, new in box”. Currently there are 14 bids running and it’s open until May 17th.
