Google unveiled the all new 11.6-inch Chromebook from Acer at Google I/O. This Chromebook is promised to start up at only eight seconds which is powered by an Intel Atom N570 CPU, featuring a 16GB SDD, and 6.5 hour battery life.

The Chromebook from Acer is scheduled to be launched in the U.S. on June 15, 2011 from Amazon.com and BestBuy.com starting at a price of $349 with optional world-mode 3G. This is cheaper than the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook.
