We’ve earlier reported that the Asus Eee Pad Transformer which was sold out soon after hit the markets in April, would be coming to Best Buy for online purchase. Best Buy has now officially updated the Asus Eee Pad Transformer page by removing the ‘Coming Soon’ tag and making it available for the customers to purchase online. The 16GB version of the tablet has been priced at $399.99 but sadly 32GB (priced at $499.99) has been already sold out online.
For starters, Asus Eee Pad Transformer is a Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet powered a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, sporting a 10-inch bigger touchscreen Gorilla Glass display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, optional additional keyboard support (hence the name ‘Transformer’!), 5 megapixels rear camera wit LED flash, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, 1GB of RAM, a micro HDMI-out port, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a miicro-SD slot, 16GB / 32GB storage variants, DLNA support etc. The tablet turns into a full-fledged laptop with the optional keyboard docking which makes it unique from most other recent tablets.
