BlackBerry Bold 9900 To Launch In September

BlackBerry Bold 9900

Back in May 2011, when RIM has announced BlackBerry 9900 at the BlackBerry World event, the smartphone manufacturer had announced that the Bold 9900 would be available in this ‘”summer” through T-Mobile. If you have been waiting for this smartphone, well here is a not so pleasing news – BlackBerry Bold 9900 won’t be available until September 2011 according to BGR’s well trusted sources.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 runs on BlackBerry OS 7 and is having a 2.8-inch VGA with 640 x 48-pixels resolution, 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 768MB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Autofocus and is capable of recording 720p HD video, 8GB of internal memory, micro-SD support up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, HSPA+ 4G radio (supports up to 14.4Mbps download speeds) and powered by a 1230mAh battery.

BGS confirmed from its multiple sources that the Bold 9900 would be launched in September officially. This isn’t very much encouraging but the next version of the BlackBerry OS, BB OS 7.5 is scheduled to launch before the launch of QNX OS for mobile phones. This means that BlackBerry Bold 9900 if at all comes, it is going to be rumored to come with BB OS 7.5 pre-installed.
