Sony and Sony Ericsson have announced a new Experience Pack for the recently released Sony Ericsson Xperia Play at the E3 in Los Angeles. The Experience Pack contains a DK300 Multimedia Dock, a pocket USB cable, a music cable to connect the dock to audio system and three brand new free games from Gameloft.
First off, the multimedia dock makes your Xperia Play into an alarm clock or office desk stand while keeping the device charged. What’s more? the dock also has an audio out port on the back that lets you plugin external speakers.
The buyers would be able to choose at least three games for free from the following 9 Gameloft games for their Xperia Play:
>> Assassin’s Creed – Altaïr’s Chronicles
>> Uno
>> Real Football 2011
>> Modern Combat 2 : Black Pegasus
>> Let’s Golf! 2
>> Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction
>> Brothers In Arms 2: Global Front
>> N.O.V.A. 2 – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance
>> Eternal Legacy
The games can be downloaded to your Xperia Play device via a QR code / voucher included with the Experience Pack. There’s still no info about the rumored HDMI-out (which was spotted on Xperia Play very recently) or supported cable included with the pack. Sony Ericsson, however didn’t mention the pricing and availability of the pack.
