The folks over BGR blog have got an image of an unknown Android powered QWERTY-slider smartphone, which is claiming to be Ma Bell’s version. The source has stated that it is slated to release on AT&T network in the coming months. All the Samsung handsets would be having the traditional three-button Android layout, but AT&T has managed to make it sporting four-button layout on this handset’s face, and its QWERTY keyboard is also having the same four Android buttons. The price info of this handset has yet to be officially revealed out by AT&T.
Coming to the Android OS version, there is no exact word about whether it comes pre-installed with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, or the out-dated Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Its QWERTY keyboard is having spacious keys, to make the users feel comfortable while typing messages, and e-mails. we’ve seen this type of keyboard on Samsung SCH-I405, which is another unannounced Gingerbread handset headed to Verizon. The other hardware specifications are still mysterious to the the tech world. We can say that it will be equipped with the front & rear dual cameras, and other regular features of Android handset such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, microUSB port, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, accelerometer, proximity sensor, Android Market, and the whole host of Google services.
