Toshiba has launched their dual screen notebook model Libretto W100 in the US market after Japan. Toshiba’s Libretto W100 is a really interesting concept of having dual screen and with multi-touch displays. The concept of dual screen serves you in two ways, either you can use as a keyboard or use both as display to read eBook. When the tablet is open like a regular notebook, its bottom screen can act as a virtual keyboard with haptic feedback. The top screen acts like a traditional screen.
It features two 7-inch, 1024×600 multi-touch LED backlit screens,1.2 GHz Pentium U5400 Intel dual core processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 62GB SSD, a USB port and a microSD slot, Webcam/microphone built-in and an 8-cell battery.

The Toshiba Libretto W100 went on sale in Japan recently and it comes with the operating system converted to English for about $1400. Toshiba Libretto US specs are slightly different from the model in Japan, a Toshiba spokesman said. The US model will only come with one battery–the larger 8-cell battery–bumping the device’s weight up to 1.8 pounds compared with the 1.5-pound weight of the model with the smaller battery in Japan. (The Japan model comes with two batteries, a standard smaller-capacity battery and a larger 8-cell battery.) The U.S. model will not include WiMAX wireless broadband.
