Chinese manufacturer Huawei has today announced a new Android smartphone, the Huawei Honor, which is the international version of the Huawei Glory smartphone. Going by the hardware, Honor is undoubtedly the most powerful smartphone to have every been produced by Huawei.

Huawei Honor handset is powered by a single-core Qualcomm MSM8655T Snapdragon 1GHz processor under the hood and runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS, features a 4-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display (854 x 480 pixels of resolution), GSM / CDMA dual mode (i.e a world phone), an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash (720p HD video recording capability), a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, memory expansion support up to 32GB using a microSD card, 3G HSPA+ (14.4 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload speeds), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 etc. The talking point however is its 1900mAh battery. With such a huge battery under the hood, the manufacturer is confident that the phone can offer as long as 3 days of usage on a single-recharge though we are sceptical about it.

Price And Availability:

Huawei didn’t announce the pricing model of this smartphone. The phone will be available in “Classic Black” in Q4, 2011 in Asia-Pacific, China, Russia and the Middle East.
