Tania – First Windows Phone From ZTE Goes Official; Features v7.5 Mango OS

While still a couple of hours to go until Microsoft officially rolling out Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS update to its entire Windows Phones portfolio, the Chinese manufacturer ZTE has officially showcased its first ever Windows Phone at a trade show called PT/EXPO COMM China 2011 in Beijing on yesterday and named it as ZTE Tania. This handset is running the new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango flavored operating system.

Sporting a pretty design, the ZTE Tania is having a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 X 800 WVGA pixels of resolution, powered by a 1Ghz single-core processor, boosted by 512MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, sensors and GPS. Unfortunatle, the Tania hasn’t for a front-facing webcam to take advantage of the Skype video calling. And of course, you won’t be seeing an SD card slot too, if you are planning to expand the memory storage on this device.

Price & Availability

There is no official info on the price tag and the release date information about the ZTE Tania handset. Microsoft has assured to look for it in several European countries later this year.
