The over the air download is much more convenient and is a great improvement.
I really find it interesting that Apple still can not zip file a download! The 5.0.1 takes over a hour and a half on T2 line. I understand Apple wants to protect it’s software and makes it as difficult as possible for users that run PC’s and Mac’s to update their portable devices. Therefore, I am not doing the download and this will be the last Apple product that comes into my home.
