HTC Flyer Wi-Fi Android 3.2 Update

In early December, HTC has pushed out the Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb update for Europe based 3G capable HTC Flyer tablet. Good news for the Wi-Fi based HTC Flyer users in the U.S., who have been waiting to get HC goodies on their tablets. Finally, it looks like that Taiwanese manufacturer has started rolling out the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS for Wi-Fi HTC Flyer. According to some users reports, there were some signs of an OTA upgrading process of Android 3.2 HC OS update. We are not sure about the other changes that are coming along with this new firmware update.

Download

You should be seeing the notifications of an OTA update asking you to accept it and download it. However, if the update fails to make its way to your device, you can manually pull out the update by hitting Menu –> Settings –> Phone Info (About Tablet) –> Software Updates –> and hit on the Check Now button –> Follow the on-screen instructions and let the upgraded finishes successfully –> That’s it. Honeycomb juice should be flowing on your HTC Flyer tablet by now.

We will update the changelog details of the Android 3.2 update as soon as we get them.
