Just the other day, we reported that AT&T started rolling out Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread update for its Samsung Infuse 4G handset. It looks like, the carrier is also rolling out a new firmware update for an handset of its line-up. A support page is now running live on its website, providing the changelog of the update and instructions to download it on the AT&T branded Motorola Atrix 2 handset. The latest firmware update brings a software version number v55.13.25 to the Motorola Atrix 2 handset. Here is the full changelog of the new software update v55.13.25:

We’re hearing that the update is rolling out now. The upgrade is rolling out OTA and we suggest that you have your handset set on Wi-Fi connectivity. You should find notification alerts on your handset asking you to download and install it. Motorola Atrix 2 owners can check to see if they have received the download by going to “Menu” –> “Settings” –> “About Phone” –> “Software Updates” to see if it’s available on your end –> If you found the update –> tap “Download” button –> let it download the software –> and select “Install Now” button –> After some time, the handset reboots automatically –> That’s it. Ensure that your Motorola Atrix 2 handset upgraded to 55.13.25.MB865.ATT.en.US software version successfully.
