Asus Transformer Prime 9.4.2.13 Software Update

The Asus Transformer Prime is now getting another firmware update and reports are suggesting that Wi-Fi is working much better. The new software update brings a new build version number IM74K.US_epad-9.4.2.13-20120203. Back in mid-January, Asus rolled out the software update 9.4.211 to fix the GPS issues. The new update 9.4.2.13 bumps the Wi-Fi software version from v6.1.1.17 to v6.1.18. It looks like the update is a relatively major one and the changes that are coming along with the new software update 9.4.2.13 for Asus Transformer Prime are:

# GPS – v6.9.13
# Wi-Fi: v6.1.1.18
# Bluetooth: v9.26

# Build: IML74K.US_epad-9.4.2.13-20120203

This update is also carrying fixes for screen flickering, app crashing issues and random reboots. But, the YouTube app is still crashing, though you can go to YouTube through the browser. Keep in mind that the real issue here is that the update breaks root.
