Are you one of the owners of T-Mobile branded LG G-Slate device? Then we’ve a news for you that T-Mobile has started rolling out a new firmware update for your Android OS powered LG G-Slate tablet. It’s just a minor update bringing the new software version v10p and the a few changes for T-Mobile G-Slate. Unfortunately, LG hasn’t announced any details about the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update for its G-Slate device.

T-Mobile G-Slate users should note that you’ve to clear data on the Download Manager app to install the new firmware update by heading over to Applications –> Manage Applications –> All –> Download Manager and hit ‘Clear Data’ button. Don’t forget to take a full backup before you proceed to download the new update. The update notification should alert you to accept the new OTA update. If the update fails to reach your tablet, you try to pull the update by hitting Menu –> Settings –> About Tablet –> System Updates –> Install Now button –> and tap Reboot. This should initiate the process of firmware upgrade and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the update process of the new firmware update v10p.
