Google Mobile Blog has announced that that they’ve released un update to Google Voice application launched for iPhone recently. The latest update in Voice app brings support for iPad & iPod Touch, which lets you to to send and receive free text messages. Sending text messages is now more streamlined and yah, users now can make GVoice calls i.e, “Click2Call”, which lets the users to click any ‘Call’ button with in the Google Voice app on their iOS devices and then decide which of their phones they want to ring.

iOS Google Voice app now automatically ‘disable text forwarding’ when users enable Push Notifications and its brings another feature ‘Do not disturb’ in the Settings tab to disconnect. Now users can simply place the calls from the contacts book by adding a dedicated Contacts button to the dialer tab. Another feature ‘Tap and Hold messages’, which lets you to delete or archive the messages in your unbox.

This latest update wont let you to make cellular calls directly. The new application is now available for download from Apple iTunes App store and you need to login with valid user credentials in Google Voice account.
