A few hours ago, we reported that T-Mobile is planning to roll out the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Sensation 4G handset on May 16th. The carrier is also prepping o roll out an ICS update for the HTC Amaze 4G shortly after Sensation 4G receives it first, but the carrier hasn’t mentioned its ICS roll out plans for the Samsung devices. Well, there’s a good news from Samsung for T-Mobile users.
The manufacturer has confirmed the list of the two handsets and two tablets that will be getting ICS update in the near future and devices were listed on Samsung’s official website. Here’s is the list of T-Mobile devices upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich build:
# Samsung Galaxy S II (SGH-t989)
# Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G (SGH-t769)
# Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (SGH-t869)
# Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (SGH-t859)
Samsung is unable to provide exact timeframes of ICS update roll out for the aforementioned handsets. So if your handset is on the list, you just have to wait for the right time.
