Dell is already having hard times getting its T-mobile destined Windows Phone 7 handset, the Venue Pro to start shipping and the customers who already pre-ordered it, are still waiting patiently to get it. But a new Venue Pro variant has passed through the FCC gates, where it touts WCDMA Band II and V support, which reminds us that these bands are exactly AT&T’s 850 & 1900 MHz 3G bands in the US, as well as Telus, Bell or Rogers.
It’s surprising that FCC approval doesn’t guarantee a release and the Dell devices never hit the market, which have passed FCC certification. But Why its sporting CDMA, where as Venue Pro is a Windows Phone 7 smartphone, hence no CDMA support. Even Verizon Wireless is in the process of abandoning CDMA.
It would be hilarious if Venue Pro really hits AT&T before T-Mobile got their variant and the customers get it by this Christmas who placed an order before Dec14th. It’s a Windows Phone 7 Phone. Hence no CDMA support. Even Verizon Wireless is in the process of abandoning CDMA.
