Along with the Sony Xperia go handset, the manufacturer has also announced the new Sony Xperia arco S handset. Specs wise, it is identical to the Sony Xperia arco HD, which was announced a few days back for Japan. The handset is having the IP55 and IP57 ratings for dust and water resistance, That mean you can go for swim and take along your water resistant Xperia arco S handset and it can dip it in up to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
Sony Xperia arco S has also got the “wet finger tracking” technology that lets you to operate the capacitive touchscreen even when the phone is wet. So you can still use it when you’re sweating or out in the heavy rain.
