Samsung Galaxy Note For T-Mobile Available On Aug 8 with Android 4.0 and the Premium Suite

Samsung Galaxy Note For T-Mobile

The powerhouse Samsung Galaxy Note was first announced for AT&T in the U.S. last year. It’s been rumored for T-Mobile carrier and we’ve already seen the official press renders of the T-Mobile variant. Finally, T-Mobile has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Note phablet will be available on a 2-year contract from August 8th for $199.99 on a 2-year Value voice and data plans plus an added $20/month device financing charge. Or else the device will cost $249.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate card with a traditional two-year service agreement.

T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Note will come preinstalled with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box with the Premium feature set installed apps such as S Pen, S Note, S Memo and Polaris Office. This baby monster packs a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 1,280×800 resolution, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor, 8MP rear shooter, 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB on-board storage with microSD card slot, 42Mbps HSPA+ connectivity and more.

$249 is a pretty high price tag for a one year old Samsung Galaxy Note. The manufacturer is expected to announce the Galaxy Note 2 in mid-August. Hopefully, the Magenta carrier will drop the price down to $149.99 when it finally launches the new Note. There has been speculation that this T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note announcement could be an indicator of next generation of the Note phone coming soon.
