Heads up the OG Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 owners. If you have been wondering when your device will be getting ICS update for your tablet, here comes the precious moment. Samsung has officially begin rolling out the most awaited Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the original Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. Both the Wi-Fi (GT-P7510) in the UK and the 3G (GT-P7500) variants in Italy are currently getting the ICS update. The build number bumps up to IMM76D for the Wi-Fi variant.
Along with Android 4.0.1 ICS goodies, the update is also carrying TouchWiz UX customization which was launched with new Galaxy tab 2 series. The new firmware also brings improved performance and it addresses various stability issues. The update is rolling out through the Samsung’s own Kies desktop application or over-the-air (OTA) process. Make sure you’ve proper Wi-Fi connection, which makes possible to pull the update from the sky.
