U.S. Cellular has officially adds two Motorola Android phones to its line-up – Motorola Electrify 2 and and the ruggedized Motorola DEFY XT. The Electrify 2, the successor if the yesteryear’s Electrify, hits the stores today online and in-stores, while the Defy XT handset is set for August 3rd release.

The Motorola Electrify 2 handset has got some decent specs:

Motorola Electrify 2 will soon be available online, and you can snag it for $199.99 after $100 mail-in rebates and you’ll have to sign a new two-year contract upon purchasing the device.

While the Motorola DEFY XT may be an entry level Android, it could be a better choice for those who love rugged phones, but it ships with Gingerbread OS, which is out dated now. It can be dropped, submerged in water, and is truly a dust/scratch proof phone. Here’s the specs list:

U.S. Cellular will start selling the Motorola DEFY XT from August 3rd both online and in stores for an unknown price tag. Republic Wireless has it for $249 off-contract and if you own LG Optimus handset, Defy XT costs just $149.
