Sony Xperia Tablet Leaks Again; May Launch on August 29th and Prices Will Start From $399.99

Less than a couple of weeks ago, a set of leaked slides have revealed that Sony is planning to release an Android tablet under Xperia brand. Yesterday, a few press shots of the first Sony Xperia Tablet have surfaced online showing off the thinner body and the unique wedge design of the device.

You can observe that the Xperia tablet is neatly tailored than the first Tablet S, but much similar to it in every angle. Sony Xperia tablet will feature 8.8mm thickness, that makes it 42% thinner than its predecessor, Tablet S. According to the previous leak, the brand new Xperia tablet will be available with a set of peripherals including charging cradle, MSFT Surface-like keyboard, dock, speaker, stand and a carrying case.

According to the source, Sony’s first ever Xperia tablet is expected to be unveiled at pre-IFA event on August 29th in Berlin and may hit the stores sometime in September. Sony will charge $399.99, $499.99 and $599.99 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Xperia tablet editions respectively.
