US citizens might feel good hearing about this news. They can be expected to get their hands on the world’s first nVidia Tegra 2 chip powered dual-core smartphone LG Optimus 2X in late February or early March(followed by MWC 2011). T-Mobile could be the official carrier launcher of this monster phone in US.
LG Optimus 2X will be hitting Europe in next month January, quite sooner than US launch. Optimus 2X handsets of Europe would be having some exclusive music content by the popular famous best loved Italian composer Ennio Moricone, who has specially composed 25 ringtones for LG. Customers can also download the free apps of Ennio images and video clips from LG Application Store, starting next year.
Optimus 2X boasts Android 2.2 Froyo(will be upgradable to Gingerbread) and having 4-inch WVGA display, HD 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback and recording capability, HDMI mirroring, TV-out via HDMI, 8 Megapixels rear facing & 1.3 Megapixels front facing cameras, 8GB inbuilt storage, a microSD slot for adding 32GB more, DLNA support, an accelerometer, a gyro sensor and 1,500mAh battery. LG Optimus 2X could be launched along with other powerful handsets HTC Incrdible HD aka HTC Mecha, Motorola Olympus(which is also expected to be equipped with NVidia Tegra 2 chip) in 2011. So which monster phone you are waiting for US folks?
