iPhone 5 Up For Pre-Order on Sept. 14th For $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB), $399 (64GB)

During the Apple iPhone 5 handset’s announcement, Apple has officially confirmed that the pre-orders will begin for the new device on September 14th. The pre0ordered units will start shipping at doors as early as September 21 for the users who live in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong. In the U.S., customers can place their orders for Verizon, AT&T and Sprint branded 4G LTE capable iPhone 5 handsets. Again, it’s pretty sad that there is no chance for T-Mobile this year too. Apple will charge $199, $299, and $399 for 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities respectively. As claimed by previous rumors, there’s no new 8GB edition for the new iPhone 5.

Apple has also confirmed that the iPhone 5 will join 22 more countries on September 28, and the iPhone 5 markets number will grow up to 100 by the end of this year.

Apple’s new iPhone 5 is carrying some significant changes over its predecessor iPhoen 4S. In fact, the iPhone 5 is a souped-up iPhone 4S with the addition of a larger screen at 4-inches with Retinal resolution, new 8MP iSight camera with a sapphire crystal and several other camera related improvements and users can capable of taking 1080p HD videos. And there is an upgraded front-facing FaceTime camera, which now supports 720p HD video recording, FaceTime calls over cellular.

iPhone 5’s new A6 processor is said to be twice as fast as the A5, with a significant increase in graphics performance. Finally, Apple has included an LTE radio in its iPhone for the first time ever in addition to addition to HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA connectivity options. Apple has also introduced the brand new Lightning connector, which is is 80% smaller, has 8 pins only. Users can take advantage of an adapter for the old 30-pin cables. Apple has also announced some audio improvements, three microphones, noise-cancelling earpiece, smaller speaker and the brand new redesigned Apple EarPods.

The iPhone 4S price tags have also been slashed to just $99 for its 16GB version, and the iPhone 4 8GB edition will be available for free-on-contract.
