Not only Motorola, Asustek, MSI, CES are going to unveil Android powered tablets at CES in 2011 January,  Taiwan based BenQ is also might be debuting Android powered tablet early next year 2011. This tablet could be named as ‘R100’, which is a 10.1 incher tablet with 1024×600 pixels resolutioning LCD touch screen and 8GB internal storage with a microSD slot for for more memory up to 16GB, mini-HDMI port, mini-USB port and 3.5mm earphone jack. It will be having Samsung made ARM based processor at 833MHz speed,. Its touchscreen can be operate by using a stylus for handling both simplified and traditional Chinese handwriting. It’s having Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n compatibility and Bluetooth.

According to a company representative, this tablet’s battery can run for full of 12 hours, if we use it just for reading books, or magazine and newspaper subscriptions. Dimensions wise, it measures (15x191x244)mm and its weighing 720 grams.

It’s still unknown that whether R100 tablet will be running with Android froyo or Gingerbread. BenQ hasn’t confirmed the price details yet and BenQ’s representatives confirmed that the images of the device couldn’t be leaked out until the tablet launched officially. BenQ’s R100 would be its first tablet PC in China and Taiwan. So lets stick around for the upcoming CES coverage where BenQ is expected to put this thing on display.
