Phablet fans across the UK and Ireland will get the Samsung Galaxy Note II soon. The phablet will be available in store on 1st October 2012.
Today, Samsung Mobile UK announced that the Galaxy Note II will be available from Monday 1st October. The device was first announced at IFA, Berlin back in August 2012. The Phablet is rumored to be out in the US in mid-November.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II is powered by Samsung’s own quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6GHz with support for LTE radio, boasts a 5.55 inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, Wacom inductive technology for convenient use of a pressure-sensitive S Pen, 2GB RAM. An 8MP camera on the back capable of taking 1080p HD videos, 1.9MP camera along the front for HD recording support, 16GB onboard storage with memory expansion support up to 64GB via microSD cards, as well as 42Mbps HSPA+ connectivity. Galaxy Note II packs a 3,100 mAh battery under its back cover and it will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, which is first time for a Samsung-made Android device.

The Galaxy Note II’s 8 megapixel rear-facing and 1.9 megapixel front-facing cameras with HD video recording, include features called Buddy Photo Share, Burst Shot, Best Photo and Best Faces which will enable you to tag most preferred face or pose of each person from group portrait photos. The AllShare® Play allows you to play content, such as videos, photos, presentations and documents to Samsung HD TVs, phones, mobile tablets, laptops etc. from your Galaxy Note II.
The Galaxy Note II will be available in the UK across all major networks including CPW and Phones4u in Marble White and Titanium Grey.
