AT&T to offer Samsung’s 16MP 21x Zoom Galaxy Camera with 4G

Yesterday, AT&T and Samsung Telecommunications America announced that the Samsung Galaxy Camera will be coming to AT&T. The US network carrier, AT&T will be the first wireless provider to offer the Galaxy Camera with a 4G data plan. But it may not have LTE support, may be only HSPA.

The Galaxy Camera is a digital camera that combines high performance photography with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and AT&T 4G mobile internet connectivity. This Camera is a perfect fit for those who wish to shoot, edit and share brilliant photographs and video easily and quickly without connecting to a laptop or PC. It features a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD touch screen operates at 1,280×720, weighs around 10.7-ounce, boasts a 21x optical zoom lens with F/2.8 maximum aperture and a super-bright 16MP BSI CMOS sensor featuring an ISO range from 100 to 3,200 for shooting high-quality images close up and in low light conditions.

This device is powered by a quad-core 1 GHz processor and has 8GB of internal storage (expandable via SD card slot). 3G/4G and Wi-Fi radios will allow users to share photos on social networks and other online destinations on the go. It also includes powerful features like Smart Pro Mode technology, which allows you to fasten with a series of pre-set options that simplify the processes for taking professional-level images. This camera gets advantage of the Android operating system by having access to Google Play and many apps that complement photography.

Yet there is no any information how much Samsung plans to price the Galaxy Camera and what kind of subsidy AT&T will offer. Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Camera will be announced when it goes on sale in the coming weeks.
