Sony is currently releasing many Android phones based on the ST/MT/LT code structure. Today, we’ve got some information to share with you that Sony is preparing to launch its next Xperia flagship in next year. According to a newly leaked User Agent Profile (UAProf), Sony is expected to bring to the market a new flagship Android-based smartphone in 2013. UAProf has revealed out the 3 new Android handsets and one of these devices is speculated to be the Sony’s next flagship.
We are presented with three new model numbers – C6502, C6503 and C6506. As you can see, the different last digits are constituting regional variations of the handset. The UAProf has listed the Sony C650X handset’s codename as “Odin” and based on the bits from the UAProf, the handset will ship with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS-ready with 10.1.A.0.XXX firmware.

New NenaMark2 benchmarking results have revealed a couple of entry-level spec’d Android phones for 2013. Model numbers are C160X (C1604/C1605) and C1505. According to the NenaMark2 benchmark results and UAProfiles, the upcoming Sony C160X handsets will come with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out of the box, powered by 1.0GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, Adreno 200 GPU, HVGA screens (320 x 480 pixels) of unknown size, and the firmware version will be 11.1.A.0.17. The Sony C1505 phone is expected to feature same processor of the C160X phones.
Not much else is known about the C1505 phone. Both the C160X and X1505 handsets come into the same category of the Xperia tipo and Xperia miro phones. Nothing has been officially confirmed on the new Xperia Odin until now, but it is reportedly set to hit shelves in March next year. Stay tuned to Gadgetian for more information.
