This must be the good news for iPad lovers. According to Digi Times sources, there would be three versions of next generation iPad, to run on a combination of Wi-Fi, UMTS and CDMA. This report claims that Apple will start mass production in next January and will be shipping over half a million iPad 2 units(500,000-530,000) with shipment ratio of Wi-Fi, UMTS and CDMA models at 3:4:3. These fresh rumours fuels in our opinion a late February or early March iPad 2 launch.
There’s been quite a lot of buzz around the next generation iPad. It is also being rumoured that Apple is working on better anti-smudge and anti-glare options for iPad 2 displays. It should have Near Field Communication (NFC) feature also like recently launched Nexus S.
