HTC Windows Phone 8X will be available in AT&T stores Today

This week, AT&T officially announced pricing for three Windows Phone smartphones including HTC 8X with two  memory options for customers. One is 8GB and another is 16GB of memory. In late-October, AT&T’s HTC 8X device went up for pre-order at Best Buy online stores for $99.9 with a two year contract. Today, the device will be available in AT&T stores.

Few months ago, the Taiwan based handset manufacturer HTC officially unveiled its new HTC Windows Phone 8X handset which is running Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 Operating System and the device is also referred as HTC Accord. But at that time, the manufacturer didn’t reveal its pricing.

Canadian retailers, Rogers has been taking pre-orders for HTC Windows Phone 8X handset since mid-October but without a shipping date. Finally, Microsoft Canada declared on its facebook account that Rogers will start selling the device beginning November 12. The retailer is offering the device at $449 without contract.

In addition, HTC 8X handsets will be available in T-Mobile stores beginning on November 14 for $149.99 but users are required to sign a two-year contract with the carrier.

We can also note that the Windows Phone 8X by HTC has a striking 4.3-inch 720p HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution, a 2.1-megapixel, 88 degree, ultra-wide front-facing camera can capture self-portraits of you and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with two Krait cores clocked at 1.5GHz, paired up with a full gigabyte of RAM and it has built-in Beats Audio TM technology as well.

The Device with 16GB version of memory will be available in Blue for $199.99 and 8GB of memory in California Blue and Limelight (yellow) for $99.99. The device having Limelight in color won’t be available in other carriers except AT&T. The handset will be available for purchase beginning November 9, today in AT&T stores.
