LG F240 smartphone With 1080p Display Leaked Online

Another  mysterious device code-named the LG-F240 leaked in a GL Benchmark showing that the device will sport a 1920 x 1080p HD display.

Last week ago, a Chinese microblogging site uploaded some screenshots showing off Lenovo’s customized Android UI on 1080pixel display. Over the last few months, Oppo mobile manufacturer announced that they will use high quality 1080p, 441 ppi display on their upcoming smartphone, the Find 5. HTC also announced their upcoming device, HTC Droid DNA will become the first smartphone with 1080p screen to land in the US.

Recently, we heard a new rumor that the Korean mobile manufacturer Samsung is set to launch 4.99 AMOLED 1080 display and they were planning to release the high quality display at CES 2013 in January next year.

From the leaked shot from GL Benchmark, we know that the LG device will be running Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.5GHz with an Adreno 320 GPU like the HTC Droid DNA. In addition, the device will be powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Though we are not having further details regarding its availability, it is expected that the device may be unveiled at CES 2013 or MWC 2013 in Barcelona, Spain a month after CES.
