Jelly Bean for Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wi-Fi

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) tablets got treated to a nice surprise today, as the manufacturer has begun seeding the update to Google’s latest Android Jelly Bean 4.1.x over the air. The update is currently rolling out in France only, but it is expected to roll out in the other parts of the world in the coming days.

The Jelly Bean update for Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet is also available via Samsung’s own Kies tool. If you own a Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and eagerly waiting to check to see if the update has already begun rolling out in your region, you can do so by heading into Settings –> About Tablet –> Software Update and check manually for the update or jump into Kies app whether or not the update notification has arrived.

The good folks at SamMobile have provided the Jelly Bean ROM (French version), and you can grab it from the below link. Remember, it should not be used for any reason, as it could potentially brick your tablet.
