The new batch of the Windows Phone 8 handsets have been reaching into consumers handsets since early November. AT&T started selling both the Nokia Lumia 820 for $49 on contract (Walmart is offering great deal on it), and its T-Mobile (Lumia 810) and Verizon (Lumia 822) variants are also now available for purchase in the United States. Now, we’ve some good news for the U.K. folks. Clove UK is now having the SIM-free Nokia Lumia 820 unlocked in stock and selling it for £399.98 (that’s $640 USD) and so you won’t have to commit with any long-term contracts. Clove is currently holding black units in stock and “White units expected Friday 01 December.”
The UK based Carphone Warehouse has been taking orders for the Lumia 820 handset for both SIM-free and monthly contracts from O2, Orange, and Vodafone.
