HTC ThunderBolt will recieve Android 4.0 ICS soon

When the Chinese mobile manufacturer, HTC released its smartphone the HTC ThunderBolt last year, initially the device was running Android 2.2 mobile operating system. But the device was updated to Android 2.3 in September last year. Back in August this year, it was rumored that HTC will update some of its Gingerbread smartphones to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Among the devices, HTC ThunderBolt was also included in the list of the smartphones waiting for an update but the update wasn’t released. According to HTC USA’s twitter handle, it will be rolling out Android 4.0 ICS to the HTC ThunderBolt “soon”.

The device has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch Super LCD display with capacitive multi-touch capabilities, proximity and light sensor, 480 x 800 pixels, equipped with 8 Megapixels rear camera with Dual-LED flash & 720p HD video shooting capability, 1.3 Megapixels front-side camera for video calling, 768MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, micro-SD card slot support for memory expansion up to 32GB, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA functionality, Mobile hotspots, 1400mAh battery and more. It is also equipped with built-in Kickstand and Dolby, and SRS surround technology.
